Margot Potter

Writer, Actress, Artist, Vocalist, Design Expert, and On-Camera Talent, Margot Potter has published seven books on jewelry making and design, an e-book on personal branding and Fifty and Other F-Words, a humorous guide to surviving and thriving after 50. She’s worked with and designed for most of the biggest companies in the DIY and Craft Industries. With hundreds of hours onstage and in live unscripted TV, she co-hosted weekly DIY on the FLY craft segments on WBIR Channel 10 Knoxville’s Live at Five at Four, appeared on QVC as a guest product expert for over 11 years, was a contestant on TLC's Craft Wars, and a DIY Star Finalist on Home and Family TV. 

She’s fronted rock, rockabilly, and jazz bands, performed some of the greatest roles in the classical theatrical canon, keynoted at fancy pants events, sold millions of dollars of products on live TV, and taught herself how to build websites, edit videos, and navigate the ever shifting complexities of internet promotion.

It’s a new decade and Margot is focused on her short form video series Mornings with Madge and creating one of a kind, whimsical works of art. Bringing a touch of joy to a weary world, Margot Potter Studios art is bursting with color and personality, much like the artist.

Equally comfortable at the writer’s desk, in the art studio, onstage, or in front of the camera, she’s a Jill of All Trades or a Renaissance Woman depending on which day you ask her.
